Bignon’s journey to success emerged from truly humble beginnings that started in the year 1996. During our early works, we served beautiful women all throughout the greater Charlotte, NC and surroundings. As our expert stylists continued to produce professional results, our popularity continued to grow! Now, our seamless operations are supported by a team of highly skilled hair goddesses who are dedicated to their craft.

The fascinating name “Bignon” means “God is great”. This originates from the Fon language in Benin (West Africa). This name is near and dear to my heart given by my father bestowed it upon me after the many trials and tribulations my parents went through during my birth. Throughout my entire childhood, my mother instilled in me an unwavering drive to continuously succeed. From a very young age, she showed me what it truly meant to be a businesswoman as I worked alongside her in Benin, West Africa. Little did I know, my mother was preparing me for unmatched success in the entrepreneurial world. The incredible beauty empire being built by my professional team and me is founded upon true passion and dedication.
I owe loving thanks to my mother for nurturing these powerful characteristics within my spirit.
